Great Mental Health Day in Haringey

A group of Haringey GP Federation wellbeing advocates and health coaches joined ABC Parents in partnership with Haringey Public Health in January at a special event to mark Great Mental Health Day.
Taking place on Friday, 31st January at Tottenham Community Sports Centre, this was one of many events across the borough which aimed to raise awareness of the support on offer for people living with mental health problems.
The theme of the event "Mental Health Across Ages" aimed to raise awareness of the importance of mental health and wellbeing for all local residents.
Networking
It proved to be a great networking opportunity for our services, including One You Haringey and our wellbeing advocates for people living with long term health conditions.
Our team was able to meet residents and voluntary groups from across the borough to exchange ideas and share helpful information about our health care and healthy lifestyle services.
They were delighted to be part of this event and to have the chance to highlight the critical role that our healthy lifestyle and health check services can play in both fostering and supporting good mental health.
