David Lammy Visits our Multi-Agency Care and Coordination Team (MACCT)
In late May, we had the pleasure of hosting Rt Hon David Lammy, Member of Parliament and UK Foreign Secretary, at Lordship Lane Primary Care Centre in Haringey.
He was there to visit to the Multi-Agency Care and Coordination Team (MACCT), a group of multi-professionals who provide personalised support to adults living with frailty and complex long-term conditions.
As a key partner in the MACCT, we’re proud of the progress achieved over the last year and were happy to share our successes and learning with Rt Hon Lammy.

In the past 12 months, the MACCT has supported more than 2,500 Haringey residents - achieving a 30% reduction in A&E attendances and hospital admissions, while driving measurable improvements in people’s quality of life.
This has had a positive effect on the wider NHS, with over £1 million saved in mitigated costs.
Mr Lammy’s visit highlights the valuable potential of local, joined-up delivery models in addressing health inequalities and providing preventative care.
His presence boosts the visibility of this project and will hopefully pave the way for the creation of similar ones across health and social care.
We’d like to thank all our partners, both for making the visit a success and for the great work done to support patients over the last year.
As part of the MACCT we’re committed to building a stronger, more equitable health system for Haringey and beyond – we will continue to work tirelessly with our partners to support patients living with frailty and their families.
